Dave Pursell serves as Head of Macro Research and was an original partner in Pickering Energy Partners. Pursell was previously Director of Upstream Research at Simmons & Company, International and spent eight years a manager of petrophysics at S.A. Holditch & Associates, now a division of Schlumberger. He gained operational experience with ARCO Alaska, Inc., conducting field engineering and operations. Pursell currently serves as Chairman of the IPAA Supply committee. He holds a BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
